If you’re planning a visit with us soon, here’s a reminder of our summer timetable:
Our main flying displays last approximately 35–40 minutes, giving you the opportunity to get incredibly close to our fantastic birds as they swoop, dive and soar overhead. We fly different birds in each display, so we recommend staying for more than one. Look out for firm favourites, including our cheeky Kookaburras, mischievous Caracaras and elegant White Storks.During your visit, you’ll also learn more about the conservation projects we are currently supporting. By visiting Thirsk Birds of Prey Centre, you are directly helping us continue this important work.
🪶 Training Display – You’ve seen our main flying displays — enjoy something a little different. Our Training Display features 4-5 birds currently in training to join future flying displays. These may be young birds learning to fly or new birds getting used to the public. A calmer, slower-paced display giving you a behind-the-scenes look at their progress.⏱️ 30–35 minutes

Please arrive 15–20 minutes before our 11:30am display to make the most of your visit
Enjoy our 1:30pm flying display later in the day
After each display, there’s time to ask our handlers questions
After watching our two main displays, feel free to stay for our Training Display, where young and new birds are learning the ropes
